Política y Gobierno is a peer-reviewed journal of political science published twice a year since 1994 by CIDE (Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas). It has become a leading forum for the debate of the most important issues in Mexican and Latin American politics and society, such as:

  • Democratic consolidation and institutional design
  • Electoral laws and their consequences
  • Rule of law
  • Decentralization
  • Political economy and economic reform
  • Public opinion and electoral behavior

Política y Gobierno welcomes papers on comparative politics, political theory, law and society, and international relations.
